Javier Enrique Fonseca Pérez

Physician and surgeon specializing in Gynecology-Obstetrics and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the Universidad del Valle. Associate professor at the School of Medicine (Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics) and the School of Public Health (Master’s degree in Epidemiology) of the Universidad del Valle, director of the MUGER research group (Universidad del Valle Working Group on Gestation, Endocrinology and Reproduction, by its acronym in Spanish). Within his investigative work, he has published 15 articles in indexed journals, 12 categorized in Scopus, directed 12 theses for a Master’s in Epidemiology, and published multiple chapters on topics in the specialty. His research work has obtained distinction in national congresses.
