Lisa Davis

Lisa Davis is a Professor of Law and Special Advisor on Gender Persecution for the International Criminal Court Prosecutor. Professor Davis is also Co-Director of the Human Rights and Gender Justice (HRGJ) Clinic at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law (HRGJ Clinic). Davis serves as the Senior Legal Advisor for MADRE, an international women’s human rights organization. Davis has written and reported extensively on international human rights and gender issues, including women’s rights and LGBTQI+ rights, focusing on peace-building and security issues in conflict and disaster settings.
